Good Morning!

The day starts around 7.30am
All the horses are checked and given hay to eat while their morning feed is prepared
The horses are fed 3 x per day + Night Check
We grow our own hay on the property and can offer a variety of blends
Our Trainer and Barn Supervisor work together to monitor horses' weights and adjust their diets accordingly

After breakfast, daily turnout for stabled horses begins...

Depending on their individual schedules, horses are either turned out, or begin their exercise programs
Weather permitting, all stabled horses go out for a minimum of 2-3hrs per day

Exercise begins...

The covered automatic Horse Walker has many uses
Warming up prior to exercise, Stretching the legs, Conditioning and Cooling down post exercise
It's also a life saver when the weather prevents horses from being turned out

Grooming and Preparation

After loosening up on the walker, horses are groomed and tacked up for their morning training sessions

Horses on a Program
are worked by our Professional Trainer...

The horses' stalls are cleaned every morning

We find pellet bedding to be the best solution
Its low dust, which is good for the horses' airways and super absorbent - which keeps them clean

After a good workout - hit the showers!

The horses love the hot and cold wash-bays
And the Infra-Red Solariums are a bonus for warming the muscles pre or post work-out

Its lunch time

Some horses live outside all year round.
The paddocks surround the barn, so we're able to keep an eye on the horses all the time
Staff visit the paddocks at every feed and check the horses, fences and automatic water every time

Helping Clients...

Wes is available throughout the day for Coaching clients on their horses and Teaching Lessons

After Lunch...

After lunch, barn staff catch up with various chores such as Cleaning Tack,
Equine Laundry Services, Re-ordering stock and making the
Horses' Appointments to see the Farrier and Vet

Turn in...

Barn boarded horses are brought in prior to feeding hay and dinner at around 4pm

While we're working in the barn...

Corinne is working in the office taking calls and managing clients' accounts

Maintanence & Operations

Terry and Jim are responsible for making sure everything is in working order,
the grass is green in summer, the roads are ploughed in winter and the place runs smoothly year round

At the end of the day...

We're not going home until we know your horse is comfortable and safe

And we'll be back later on...

For Night Check - 365 days a year
Whatever the weather, we check every horse on the property
Check his water, straighten his blankets and give him another slice of hay for the night
If there's a problem, we'll call the vet and stay with him
If everything is OK we can go home
And we'll be checking the CCTV throughout the night just to be sure
