Training Programs are available on a Weekly, Monthly or Quarterly basis
We are happy to take horses of all ages and levels
And offer special rates for Breeders

Our Philosophy...

Here at Riverlands we aim to bring out the best in every horse
Starting early and treating each horse as an individual,
Wes' training methods are sympathetic and motivating

Adjusted on a week by week basis, horse's programs incorporate
Learning new Skills, building Strength and Flexibility and increasing Fitness

As horses mature, improving Focus and
​Overcoming Environmental Challenges are also part of the program

​Depending on their age and Level of Development,
​Horses on a Training Program are worked up to 5 days per week

Keeping horses motivated is a priority
To do so, we use the full scope of our facilities and employ
Cross Training where appropriate

Show Preparation begins between three and four years old with
regular Training Trips off the property and at Schooling Shows

When the horse is Mentally and Physically ready
​He or She will make their debut in the Show ring

From this point onwards Performance Feedback will be recorded
Incremental Improvement is the goal and Solid, Consistent Performances are rewarded

We will always try to do what is best for the horse and aim for a sound, happy athlete
